in Art & Design, FeaturedI spent two weeks in Buenos Aires taking pictures of everything I saw, from the shopping district to beaches in Uruguay to a Gaucho Ranch. What caught my eye was the Recoleta Cemetery where Eva Peron is buried. I wanted to combine all the pictures I had taken and create _____ (something) that had a shrine-like quality that reflected the mausoleums in the cemetery.

in Art & Design, FeaturedI traipsed all the way to the Grand in anticipation, with awaited breath (waiting an hour), to see what Gaurav Gupta was going to wow the crowd with once again. He, on previous occasions, has proved himself to be a master draper and has presented very interesting and conceptual silhouettes. With his collection for the Van Heusen Men’s Fashion Week, he did reinforce that point.

in Art & Design, Featured, Photo EssaysWe drove to a friend’s wedding in Jodhpur. A large jeep, and a camera. Many images that made us look, with amazement, out the window, stop and get out. A continuous reel of inspiration, graphics, art, architecture. Surprises of design and innovation on street corners. Stark visuals everywhere.
